Argumento. Miss Saigón es una adaptación de la ópera escrita por Giacomo Puccini, Madame Butterfly. La historia es muy similar a la ópera, y cuenta la trágica historia de un romance entre una asiática abandonada por su amante de Estados Unidos. El escenario es Saigón, Vietnam en los 70 durante la Guerra de Vietnam.
Miss Saigon is a sung-through stage musical by Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil, with lyrics by Boublil and Richard Maltby Jr. It is based on Giacomo Puccini 's 1904 opera Madama Butterfly, and similarly tells the tragic tale of a doomed romance involving an Asian woman abandoned by her American lover.
