Bill Killebrew is a Nashville native with a BFA in painting and printmaking from Middle Tennessee State University. The deep and personal poetry in Killebrew’s oil paintings springs from the beauty of daily life seen in his figures, interiors, landscapes and still lifes.
2 de mar. de 2015 · Two years ago, I wrote about Bill Killebrew, the self-styled “Cap’n” who hosted a variety of children’s TV shows on Memphis stations. At the time, I included a photograph of Bill with his pet chimpanzee Scatter, pretending to drive a car (it was one of Bill’s favorite gags), and another image of Bill drawing a cartoon for a local hospital patient.
