Each member is well known for their individual careers as band leaders, sidemen, studio players and road men.
Don Braden and Karl Latham’s new album, “Big Fun(k) Live” explores new territories in jazz and funk with hard-hitting grooves, clever riffs and sophisticated harmonies. The project was recorded over three nights at Cecil’s Jazz Club in West Orange, New Jersey.

8 de may. de 2012 · Big Fun(k) Live’s first track, “High Rise,” fuses elements mainly of Funk and Contemporary Jazz. It begins with a heavy slap bass that is soon joined by Braden’s soaring saxophone, which fits into the rhythm seamlessly and leads into a powerful extended jam.
