B.T. Express (originally named Brooklyn Transit Express) was an American funk / disco group that had a number of successful songs during the 1970s. [1] Background. According to a Record World article in March, 1975, the King Davis House Rockers begat the Madison Street Express which begat Brothers Trucking which begat B.T. Express.

US American funk and disco group. Formed by Jeff Lane, they hailed from Brooklyn, New York. In 1972 they were known as The King Davis House Rockers, then changing their name to Madison Street Express, and the Brothers Trucking, before settling on B.T. Express. B.T. stands for Brooklyn Transit.
