Yonejirō Noguchi (野口 米次郎, Noguchi Yonejirō, December 8, 1875 – July 13, 1947) was an influential Japanese writer of poetry, fiction, essays and literary criticism in both English and Japanese. He is known in the west as Yone Noguchi. He was the father of noted sculptor Isamu Noguchi.
Poet and critic Yone Noguchi (father of Isamu Noguchi, the internationally renowned sculptor and designer) was the first Japanese-born writer to publish poetry in English. He was born in Tsushima, Japan and studied at Keio Gijuku University in Tokyo.

Yone Noguchi, the first Japanese-born writer to publish poetry in English, was born in 1875 in Tsushima. He lived and worked in San Francisco, and was the author of numerous books of poetry and prose. He died Toyooka-mura on July 13, 1947.
