10 de feb. de 2007 · This CD compilation has the bulk of Baby Washington's greatest recordings for Sue Records. Ms. Washington's voice is that of a warm and soulful type, right out of the Church. She also utilized the doo wop medium as a launching pad early on. The remastering is excellent, though MONO.
Washington then moved to Juggy Murray's Sue Records in 1962, scoring her only entry on the U.S. Billboard Top 40 with "That's How Heartaches Are Made" in 1963. Two years later, she hit again on the U.S. R&B Top 10 with "Only Those In Love". [1]
