During this period (56-64) there was an incredible sexual and sleazy tension to Muddy Water's music. His restrained phrasing (along with James Cotton, Jimmy Rodgers, Earl Hooker, Otis Spann, Willie Dixon, Francis Clay), sounded like two trains running.
