Il y a bien des années, ce film fut ma porte d’entrée vers le cinéma de Truffaut, cristallisant tout à la fois sa soif de liberté, son goût pour les femmes passionnées, son amour de la littérature et du cinéma. Le revoir ne change pas grand-chose à l’idée que j’en avais gardé, à l’émotion qui m’en était resté.
