28 de abr. de 2024 · Shakespeare Conservatory is a year-round acting intensive for students interested in a deeper exploration of Shakespeare through performance of his works. The program is open to students ages 11-18 at all levels. This class is a pre-requisite for Team Shakespeare, the Festival’s apprentice troupe.
West Side at 79th. Quiet Zone. Restrooms. No restrooms. Evocative of an English cottage garden, the four-acre space is densely planted with trees, shrubs, flowers, and herbs mentioned in William Shakespeare’s plays and poems. Scattered throughout the Garden are bronze plaques with quotes from Shakespeare that reference plants.
The ESU National Shakespeare Competition is a performance-based educational program serving grades 9-12. Since 1983, the competition has engaged more than 400,000 young people. Approximately 2,500 teachers and 20,000 students in nearly 60 ESU Branch communities participate each year.
