Early pressings of the album cover revealed the breast part of the statue as requested by lead singer Stephen Pearcy. According to Pearcy, he wanted to use that version of the cover but the other band members feared that this would keep the record out of certain music stores.
The band Ratt was formed under the name Mickey Ratt during the very early eighties and became a part of the sleaze scene in Los Angeles. To tell the story of the band would take much too long time but their debut surfaced with the self-titled album Ratt in 1983 and in 1999 their eighth and last album, yet again self-titled, was released.

Stephen Eric Pearcy (born July 3, 1956) is an American musician who is the founder, singer, songwriter of the heavy metal band Ratt. He has also created the bands Firedome, Crystal Pystal, Arcade, Vicious Delite, and Vertex. He has also recorded seven albums as a solo artist.
