Steve Hellier is a writer-producer who is best known for forming the electronic music group Death in Vegas with Richard Fearless. Signing to Concrete Records in 1994, the band wrote, recorded and toured their highly successful debut album ‘Dead Elvis’, released in 1997.

21 de jun. de 2021 · Death in Vegas founder reveals what prompted him to quit. Steve Hellier, along with frontman Richard Fearless, formed Death in Vegas in 1994. Hellier has writing and production credits on debut album Dead Elvis as well as a writing credit on 1999’s The Contino Sessions.
The band was formed in London in 1994 by Fearless and Steve Hellier and signed to Concrete Records under the name of "Dead Elvis". Objections from the Elvis Presley estate forced them to change their name, and Dead Elvis became the title of their first album instead.
