As the most comprehensive performing arts high school in Kentucky, the faculty, staff, and administration of the Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS) have the distinct opportunity to train, educate, and nurture today’s young talent to become tomorrow’s artists.
YPAS is a performing arts high school that offers majors and minors in vocal music, instrumental music, dance, theatre, and design and production. Students receive a well-rounded education at duPont Manual High School and have access to state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated faculty, and scholarship opportunities.

Plays, musicals, cabaret skits, improvisation—Academy children get many opportunities to shine in the spotlight and back stage. Performance is not an extra-curricular activity at Academy but an essential part of a student’s personal and academic growth, teaching accountability and instilling confidence in their talents.
