Also joining the band was another Memphis native, lead guitarist Johnny Echols, and drummer Don Conka. A short time later, Conka was replaced by Alban "Snoopy" Pfisterer. Love's first bassist, Johnny Fleckenstein, went on to join the Standells in 1967.

He was thought to possess died not only because he was much junkie but just because a track had recommended that he would die. Being a contrast to people poor vibes, Lee will need to have been pleased to possess Conka back the musical picture in the ’90s.
