Struck by Lightning is a solo album by the English musician Graham Parker, released in 1991. It was Parker's best selling album of the 1990s, reaching number 131 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Garth Hudson assists Graham Parker on three tracks on the 1991 album Struck by Lightning. Parker moved to Woodstock in 1990 where he gigged with Rick Danko (who does not appear here). The album was recorded in West Hurley with Bodnar (ex-Rumour) and Pete Thomas (ex-Elvis Costello & The Attractions).

On Struck By Lightning, he turns out some of his smartest lyrics ever -- the guy was always underrated as a wordsmith -- but the range of musical styles is what really impresses, sampling Americana, soul, power pop, acoustic folk, you name it. Great guest stars on the album, too, like Garth Hudson, John Sebastian, and Cyndi Cashdollar.
