Keble College is a vibrant and diverse community of over 800 students, founded in 1870. It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as events, conferences and research opportunities.
Keble College (/ ˈ k iː b əl /) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England. Its main buildings are on Parks Road, opposite the University Museum and the University Parks. The college is bordered to the north by Keble Road, to the south by Museum Road, and to the west by Blackhall Road.
Keble College has come a long way since its opening in 1870. The first Oxford College of the modern era, it was founded in memory of John Keble (1792-1866), well known for his best-selling Christian verse and a key member of the so-called ‘Oxford’ movement.

Keble College offers research degrees and masters' courses in most subjects and provides en-suite accommodation and meals for graduates. The college also has a new centre for research, innovation and start-ups, located near the main site on Parks Road.
English & Joint Schools. Keble College has a very strong tradition in English. Many renowned writers have studied here, including Ian Hamilton and Geoffrey Hill, the late Professor of Poetry at Oxford (2010-2015) and, more recently Caroline Criado Perez.
