Richard Coughlan (2 September 1947 – 1 December 2013) was an English musician, best known as the drummer and percussionist of the Canterbury scene progressive rock band Caravan. He was one of the founding members of Caravan in 1968 and remained with the band until his death.

8 de dic. de 2013 · It is with a very heavy heart that we announce that Richard Coughlan passed away on Sunday 1st December. Richard was a founder member and drummer for Caravan for over forty three years. Richard died at his home and had been in poor health for the last few years.
