Leo the Lion is the American title of Jungle Emperor Onward Leo, a 1966 follow-up to Kimba, the White Lion, based on Osamu Tezuka's manga. The series depicts Leo's adventures as a mature lion king in Africa, with more drama, violence and expressionism than the first season.
