Brian Borcherdt (born August 31, 1976) is a Canadian musician who has been both a solo artist and a member of Burnt Black, Trephines, Hot Carl, By Divine Right, Holy Fuck, Lids, and Dusted . As a teenager growing up in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, he founded independent music collective and record label Dependent Music. [1]

After a few years with Canadian indie pioneers BY DIVINE RIGHT, Brian went off on his own to pursue two projects: the world touring, Polaris / Juno nominated HOLY FUCK as well as his own solo career.

Combining echoes of the past with ruminations of the present – the album was compiled when Brian found an old laptop with a bunch of forgotten tracks on it that were strangely still relevant.
