Siren is an American fantasy drama television series that follows Ryn Fisher (played by Eline Powell), a young siren who comes to a small coastal town looking for her abducted older sister. The series premiered on Freeform on March 29, 2018.

Achelous was most remembered for contesting with Heracles for the love of the beautiful princess Deianira.
The Sirens are the origin of the term “siren song,” which refers to something that’s hard to resist, but which will end badly. One of the most unique aspects of these temptresses, particularly in Homer’s “The Odyssey,” is how it’s not their appearances that attracts sailors, but their voices.
