Now, with the music finally out in the world, and despite his ongoing health battles, Santiago is in the midst of planning a new tour and hoping to schedule speaking arrangements to help pass the baton to a new breed of funky architects.
Born in Spanish Harlem in New York City Neftali Santiago grew up an Army Brat. After moving off base for the first time in 1968. The Santiago family moved to South New Jersey. Neftali's older brother Chris had a band that practiced at the Santiago's home. Neftali was already interested in drumming before moving to New Jersey.

Neftali unites with Omnian Music Group to release music recorded 1975-76. This will be all of the "Santiago Band" recordings. In addition Omnian will release a lost track from "Neftali's Beast", "Let Out Your Beast". and from "Neftali and Friends", Set It Free and "Everybody Ears But Nobody Listens".
