1 de sept. de 2001 · Striking out on his own in the late '70s, Motian began the Electric Bebop Band, originally with Joshua Redman and two electric guitarists. Motian uses this same line up for his latest Winter & Winter outing, but adds a second saxophone.
During the ’90s, he also led an ensemble called the Electric Bebop Band, which featured saxophonist Joshua Redman, guitarists Kurt Rosenwinkel and Brad Shepik, and bassist Stomu Takeishi.
