Edwin Arthur Schlossberg (born July 19, 1945) is an American designer, author, and artist. He specializes in designing interactive experiences, beginning in 1977 with the first hands-on learning environment in the U.S. for the Brooklyn Children's Museum.
Over the last 50 years, Schlossberg has used words and images to create visual and poetic worlds in his art, using various and unconventional media. Schlossberg developed as an artist during the 1960s in New York, as a member of its dynamic art scene.
30 de abr. de 2018 · Schlossberg began his artistic career fifty years ago, quickly distinguishing himself from his contemporaries by experimenting with words and images in untraditional ways – some of his earliest works were poems written using a typewriter on aluminum foil.
An internationally recognized pioneer in experience design and audience engagement, Edwin Schlossberg launched his career in 1977 with the design of one of the world’s first interactive museums, the Brooklyn Children’s Museum.
