The Adventures of Bumblefoot ( and other tales of woe...) is the debut solo studio album by recording artist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal released in May 1995. All song titles were derived from the names of various animal diseases.
'The Adventures of Bumblefoot' is my first album, an instrumental guitar album originally released May 1995 on Shrapnel Records in the US, Roadrunner Records in Europe & Japan. It was pretty well received at the time, good reviews, charted on reader's polls in magazines.

Thal's 1995 debut album, The Adventures of Bumblefoot, after being out of print for years, was re-released in August 2010 as a 15 Year Anniversary Edition CD. Thal wrote a 200-page transcription book of the recording.
Ron Thal, "The Adventures Of Bumblefoot". The concept started in a small room in North Carolina in 1993. I was helping my girlfriend study veterinary medicine when I came across a disease that turkeys get called Ulcerative Pododermatitis, also known as Bumblefoot.
