Sagebrush Symphony is the nineteenth album by American singer-songwriter Michael Martin Murphey, his second live album since his 1979 live/studio album Peaks, Valleys, Honkytonks and Alleys, and his first album with a symphony orchestra.

Nicknamed Toop-yah-oh (Flute Song) in his Native American Tiwa language, Mirabal is a multitalented instrumentalist who plays percussion, keyboards, ocarina, didgeridoo, and even crafts his own flutes. A true renaissance man, Mirabal has also written poems, prose, and screenplays.
Recorded live with The San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, Sagebrush Symphony includes standards “Red River Valley,” “Cool Water,” “Down In The Valley”, “The Old Chisholm Trail,” “Back In The Saddle,” “Cowboy Logic,” and “Sounds of the Range,” among others.
"Sagebrush Symphony" is performed with the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra along with help from western music regulars such as Sons Of The San Joaquin, Herb Jeffries, and Native American performer Robert Mirabal.
