TASIS or TASIS Switzerland, formally known as The American School In Switzerland, is a private American international boarding and day school in Switzerland. TASIS is the oldest American college-preparatory boarding school in Europe and consistently ranks as one of Europe's best boarding schools.
TASIS is known for attracting educators who are adventurous, driven, and enthusiastic, and more than 70 percent of our faculty hold advanced degrees. We are proud to employ gifted, passionate teachers who encourage intellectual curiosity and demand the most from their students.
TASIS offers programs for qualified students aged 3–19, including bilingual instruction for students in grades 1–9, English as an Additional Language (EAL) courses, the Advanced Placement (AP) program, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
The American School in Switzerland is the oldest American boarding school in Europe. Our beautiful campus–perched on a hillside in southern Switzerland–welcomes over 700 day and boarding students from 60 different countries in grades Pre-Kindergarten to Postgraduate.
