The album was eventually finalized and released in June 2020, using Bennington's original vocals on top of re-recorded instrumentation, consisting of original members bassist Mace Beyers and drummer Sean Dowdell, joined by Cristin Davis on guitar, in addition to a number of collaboriations with Bennington's friends and family.
22 de feb. de 2024 · Sometime in 2002, Bobby Benish had a seizure while driving, blacked out and totaled his truck. In the hospital, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since Bobby and his family were having trouble paying his medical bills, Chester decided to reunite Grey Daze for one-off benefit show for Bobby.
Former band member Bobby Benish died on September 28, 2004 from a brain tumor. Former singer Chester Bennington died on July 20, 2017 from suicide by hanging.
2 de feb. de 2021 · This was recorded in its entirety in 1997 with original guitarist Bobby Benish on a 12-string guitar, Mace Beyers on 12-string guitar, myself on piano and Chester on vocals. The band literally was in the middle of recording their second album [1997's …No Sun Today ] when we decided to just play this version of "The Syndrome" together.
5 de may. de 2023 · The original featured prominent bass playing from Mace Beyers, and melodic guitar by Bobby Benish, building up into a heavier chorus to match the intensity of Bennington’s voice. Part of this chorus would be removed from the re-recording, to be utilised for later.
