Kenneth Raymond Forssi (March 30, 1943 – January 5, 1998) [1] was an American musician, best known as the original bass player in the band Love . Early life. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the older of two sons, along with brother Charles, born to Raymond B. and Lola G. Forssi.
10 de mar. de 2015 · When Lee broke up that band in 1968, Love fundamentally became his solo vehicle for a series of releases that reached even less of an audience. Love’s first three slabs are essential: Love (1966), Da Capo (1967) and the aforementioned Forever Changes – all with Forssi, who passed in 1998.
Carrera. Los miembros originales de la banda fueron Ron Wilson (batería), Jim Fuller (primera guitarra), Bob Berryhill (guitarra rítmica) y Pat Connolly (bajo). Ken Forssi replaced him on bass for the tour. Fuller resigned after the tour and the band folded in early 1966. Forssi died from a brain tumor in 1998. Ken Forssi joined the group and was the bass player for their "It Ain't Me, Babe" LP recorded at Capitol Records in Studio A in late Spring and early Summer of 1965.
