The chorus, “Heaven help the fool, guess I showed the sons of bitches, heaven help the fool,” reveals Weir’s triumph over those who doubted him. It’s his way of asserting his success in the face of adversity, but also a reminder to himself to stay humble and aware of the pitfalls of arrogance.
Reflections is Jerry Garcia's third solo album, released in 1976. Partway through production, Garcia stopped recording with his solo band and brought in the members of the Grateful Dead, who performed on four songs, plus a bonus jam from 2004 release.
