The Juilliard School ( / ˈdʒuːli.ɑːrd / JOO-lee-ard) [5] is a private performing arts conservatory in New York City. Founded by Frank Damrosch as the Institute of Musical Art in 1905, the school later added dance and drama programs and became the Juilliard School, named after its principal benefactor Augustus D. Juilliard.

The estimated budget for a first-time, first-year Juilliard student for the nine-month 2024-2025 academic year is calculated as follows. This budget includes both direct and indirect costs. Direct Costs: Tuition, fees, insurance, and residence hall expenses, which are billed directly to students.
The Juilliard School offers In-Person and Virtual Campus Tours free of charge to prospective applicants (students applying to a college program within the next 2-3 years). Participants must register in advance.
