Daniel Gildenlöw (nacido el 5 de junio de 1973 en Eskilstuna, Suecia) es un músico y compositor sueco conocido por haber fundado el grupo de metal progresivo Pain of Salvation, de la que es el principal compositor, líder, multinstrumentista y creador de todas las historias que se esconden detrás de todos sus álbumes conceptuales.

Established in 1984 by the only remaining original member, Daniel Gildenlöw (lead vocals, lead guitar); Pain of Salvation is known far and wide as one of the most vital bands in the resurgence of progressive music.

En 1984, Daniel Gildenlöw con apenas 11 años, inició una banda llamada Reality que luego en 1991 sería renombrada como Pain of Salvation. Luego de algunos cambios en los integrantes, la banda logra producir su primer disco llamado Entropía en 1997.
“PANTHER”, the follow-up release to 2017’s “In The Passing Light Of Day” album, was recorded, mixed and produced by Daniel Gildenlöw with Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Devin Townsend) and comes with a comprehensive artwork-theme with illustrations made by André Meister (Frontcover to be seen above!).
