The Innocence Mission is an American indie folk band formed in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1986. The band is composed of Karen Peris (née McCullough), her husband (and fellow guitarist) Don Peris, and Mike Bitts (on bass guitar). Although all members of the band have contributed to their music, Karen Peris is their main writer. History.

geranium lake is a collection of live performances, demos, and unreleased songs from the glow tours and home recordings leading up to making our 1995 album glow.. The name geranium lake is borrowed from the tint of red paint to suggest a place, and the song has to do with returning to a beloved place in the memory.
