12 de dic. de 2006 · Reef Check Board Member Eddy Medora passed away on 26 October, 2006 following a brief respiratory illness. Eddy was a California kid, who began working in earnest in the 7 th grade playing lead guitar for “the Renegades”, a garage band that rehearsed in his parent’s home in Pacific Palisades.

" I Live for the Sun " is a 1965 single written by Rick Henn and performed by American pop band the Sunrays. Origin and recording. Band member Eddy Medora on the origin of the song: "I had a chorus that went, 'Run Run Run' and Ricky Henn called me up to come over and finish it. I didn't come over."
While on an airplane, guitarist Eddy Medora met "this beautiful stewardess, just lovely." He promised he would write a song about her when he returned home. He mentioned the conversation to Henn. By the time of the band's first rehearsal after returning home, Henn had completed writing the song. [3] .
