Ever the multi-instrumentalist, Eyvind Kang plays over fifteen instruments including various synths, the viola, oud and electric bass. While the ambitious "Alastor" borrows heavily from a broad range of motifs, the result is fresh. It makes for an enjoyable contribution to the Book of Angels.
