Chicken Shack are a British blues band, founded in the mid-1960s by Stan Webb (guitar and vocals), Andy Silvester (bass guitar), and Alan Morley (drums), who were later joined by Christine Perfect (later McVie) (vocals and keyboards) in 1967. Chicken Shack has performed with various line-ups, Stan Webb being the only constant member.
Jim Rudge arrived in Port Moresby in 1943, served in Angau as a Medical Assistant, and returned briefly to Australia before going back to Papua New Guinea to work in the Department of Public Health. Rudge is the only wartime medical assistant to have published an extensive account of his work.
2 de nov. de 2012 · Jim Rudge - Bass. Born in 1971 to a musical family, Jim played many different instruments until he took up the bass guitar at age 16. Initially he played in small jazz and blues bands, eventually joining a Wolverhampton based indie band in 1986.

The band rocks along solidly. Gary Davies on guitar, Jim Rudge on bass and drummer Mick Jones are accompanied by the “Shadow” Horns (Rudiger Baldauf on trumpet, Frank Zirchner on saxes, and Peter Zagona on baritone sax).
