Ged Lynch (born 19 July 1968, Blackburn, England) is an English percussionist and composer. Lynch had early commercial success drumming with the Ruthless Rap Assassins. In 1989 he joined The Icicle Works. He joined Shaun Ryder and Bez in Black Grape in 1993.
Whether with drums or percussion, Ged can effortlessly drive the rhythm section with power and passion or, with a delicate sensitivity. With Ged on board, you get all sorts of ideas down really quickly and everything will be in time.
10 de oct. de 2016 · Blackburn-born Ged got his first break playing percussion with Manchester rap artists The Ruthless Rap Assassins in the early ’90s. Rapper Kermit from the band went on to form Black Grape with the Happy Mondays’ Shaun Ryder and Bez, and dragged Ged along for the ride as the band’s drummer and percussionist.
