Modern Pain is the debut album by Canadian country singer Corb Lund. Originally released in 1995, the album was re-released in 2003 after Lund's commercial breakthrough with the album Five Dollar Bill in 2002.
5 de feb. de 2024 · Lund enlisted guest appearances from Hayes Carll and Ian Tyson alongside his band the Hurtin Albertans. Lund stayed with New West for 2020's Agricultural Tragic, a record named after his own description of his music and featuring a duet with Jaida Dreyer on "I Think You Oughta Try Whiskey."
Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans are a Canadian country music band, formerly known as the Corb Lund Band. The Hurtin' Albertans is Lund's touring band. They have released nine albums to critical acclaim.

1 de mar. de 2012 · The Corb Lund Band’s debut album, Modern Pain (1995), became an indie alt-country classic, and Unforgiving Mistress followed in 1999. When the Smalls dissolved in 2001, Lund turned to his own band full-time.
