Brian Vermin (born Brian McQuaid) is a former punk rock drummer, best known for his time in Screeching Weasel and Sludgeworth. He joined Screeching Weasel in late 1988 at age 16, replacing original drummer Steve Cheese, when the band started its first serious touring.
The lineup consisted of Ben, Jughead, Vapid, Vermin, and Ward. After the show, Vapid discussed the idea of reforming Screeching Weasel with Jughead. All of the band's members agreed to reform, with the exceptions of Brian Vermin and Douglas Ward.
It was the band's only non-compilation release to feature drummer Brian Vermin and the first to feature Dan Vapid (then known as Sewercap), who would be featured on many later Screeching Weasel albums.
Sludgeworth is an American punk rock band from Chicago consisting of Dan Schafer (vocals), Adam White (guitar), Dave McClean (guitar), Mike Hootenstrat (bass), and Brian Vermin (drums).
