Trip The Light Fantastic is the solo debut album from Ladybug Mecca, a member from hip-hop group Digable Planets. The album was released June 2005 on the indie label Nu Paradigm and features production by jazz musician Brian Jackson, who had also toured with Digable Planets.
Vieira, also known as Lady Mecca, released Trip The Light Fantastic in 2005. She has continued to collaborate regularly with other musicians, notably on Legacy/Sony's Billie Holiday Remixed and Reimagined album, Del tha Funkee Homosapien's Eleventh Hour, and with hip-hop supergroup eMC.

29 de ene. de 2007 · As Digable Planets, they constructed a unique melding of streetwise hip-hop with ultra-cool jazz loops and solos. Their debut album, Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space), was an instant success and included the Top 20 single "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat).
He also composed music for commercial clients including Pepsi and Fila, and ventured into acting, with roles in film (the 2002 Sundance fave I Am Ali) and Off Broadway. Mecca the Ladybug now Ladybug Mecca dropped her new solo album, Trip The Light Fantastic, in June, 2005 on her very own record label Nu Paradigm Entertainment.
