  1. Duncan Scott Forbes (19 June 1941 – 23 October 2019) [1] was a Scottish professional footballer. He spent 33 years at Norwich City, 13 as a player, seven on the commercial staff and 13 as chief scout.

  2. Duncan Forbes was a Scottish statesman whose loyalty to the Hanoverian king George II of Great Britain contributed markedly to the defeat of the Jacobite rebellion of 1745–46. Trained in law, Forbes entered local politics and in 1715 aided the Hanoverian cause during the unsuccessful Jacobite.

  3. Duncan Forbes is a British poet who has published seven collections of poems, the latest being Human Time in 2020. He has won several prizes, including the TLS/Blackwells poetry competition and the Stephen Spender Prize for poetry in translation, and has taught English and literature for over thirty years.
