John Edward McInerney (born 7 September 1957 in Liverpool, United Kingdom) is a British singer, songwriter, and the frontman of German band Bad Boys Blue. He is the only band member from the original line-up of the group still performing.

John McInerney seguía siendo el vocalista principal en la mayoría de las canciones de Bad Boys Blue. Después de dejar el grupo, Trevor Taylor, comenzó el proyecto Street Noise, publicando el maxi “Our Problem” (1990). En 1993 forma el grupo reggae Umoya y publica el álbum "Overdue", con escaso éxito.
