Hacia el final de la gira de promoción de Ungod, David Suycott dejó la banda inesperadamente. Llamaron entonces a Andy Kubiszewski para que fuese el sustituto de Suycott hasta el final de la gira. David Suycott abruptly dropped out of the band toward the end of the Ungod tour. Andy Kubiszewski was called in to replace Suycott's position for the remainder of the shows. This fast replacement required Kubiszewski to learn all of Suycott's parts while on his flight to meet with the band.
In the Illinois Entertainer's first Chicago Musician Awards, held July 16, 1990 at Cabaret Metro, David Suycott was voted "best drummer" and Todd Colburn was voted "best guitarist". Suycott also won the Avalon's Drum Solo Contest in 1990.
