John Symon Asher Bruce (Bishopbriggs, 14 de mayo de 1943-Suffolk, 25 de octubre de 2014), [1] más conocido como Jack Bruce, fue un músico, compositor y cantante británico, conocido por ser el cantante y bajista del grupo Cream entre 1966 y 1968.

John Symon Asher Bruce (14 May 1943 – 25 October 2014) was a Scottish musician. He gained popularity as the primary lead vocalist and bassist of rock band Cream. After the group disbanded in 1968, he pursued a solo career and also played with several bands.
The group consisted of bassist Jack Bruce, guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker. Bruce was the primary songwriter and vocalist, although Clapton and Baker contributed to songs. Formed by members of previously successful bands, they are widely considered the first supergroup.
