Hija de Madamme Stael, duquesa de Broglie. Se casó en 1816 con el duque de Broglie y se distinguió por su bondad y sus virtudes. Profesaba la religión protestante, perteneciendo a la secta de los metodistas y dejó escritas varias obras de religión y de moral.
