Linacre is a diverse college in terms of both the international composition of its members (the majority of whom are from outside the UK and have come from over 133 countries), as well as the disciplines studied. Linacre was the first graduate college in the UK for both sexes and all subjects.

Linacre is a graduate College of the University of Oxford with a lively, friendly, academic and social community. Founded in 1962, it consists of over 50 Fellows, 24 Junior Research Fellows and 400 students.
