21 de dic. de 2000 · On Morning Light, Locust pulls off some amazing work and I personally think that it’s a welcome change. It’s full of lush trip-hop with an experimental ethic that, while not particularly spine-chilling (like Portishead’s newest masterpiece), still makes for a pretty darn good album.
Permanent fixtures Craig Bethell and Zoe Niblett, and numerous guests Including Mojave 3's Neil Halstead, contribute a variety of melodious warbling techniques, without ever compromising the overall tone of electric melancholy.
In celebration of Record Store Day, Medical Records presents a reissue of the fourth album by Locust on 160 gram vinyl. Originally released in 1997 on Apollo/R&S Records, Morning Light was originally a CD-only release.
