It was announced in October 2016 that Tom Hardy would star as Al Capone in the film, then known as Fonzo, which would be directed, written and edited by Josh Trank. Filming was initially eyed to begin in the summer of 2017, with Hardy stating it would be released sometime in 2018.

Ekachai Jearakul was born in 1987 in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. He started to train his first musical instrument on trumpet at the age of 10. When he was 13 years old, he heard the music piece named “Hungry Man Blues”, composed by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, arranged and played on classical guitar. He was inspired and decided to play classical guitar since then.
