Unity was 311's second independent release (following their 1990 album Dammit!) and first CD release on their own record company, What Have You Records. It was released in 1991 on both CD and Cassette. It is considered by some to be the band's second album if Dammit! is counted as their debut album.

311 (pronunciado "three eleven") es una banda estadounidense de rock, formada en Omaha, Nebraska. La banda nació en 1989, con el vocalista y guitarrista Nick Hexum, el guitarrista Jim Watson (quien, más tarde, sería reemplazado por Tim Mahoney ), el bajista P-Nut y el baterista Chad Sexton. En 1992, Doug "SA" Martínez se unió como vocalista y DJ.
