Johanne James. Johanne James is the drummer for British progressive metal band Threshold. He joined the band officially, replacing Mark Heaney, in 2001, to record the album Hypothetical, which occurred after having toured with the band in support of the albums Extinct Instinct and Clone. [1]

Johanne James plays drums in Threshold, regarded as possibly the best British progressive metal bands in existence, as well as one of the best progressive rock/metal bands in the world. James replaced previous drummer Mark Heaney after the 1998 release "Clone".
