  2. The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

  3. The Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes was founded in 2000 and restructured in September 2009. It consists of OECD member countries as well as other jurisdictions that have agreed to implement tax related transparency and information exchange. [2] . The forum works under the auspices of the OECD and G20.

  4. The Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes is a multilateral framework for tax transparency and information sharing, within which over 160 jurisdictions participate on an equal footing.

  5. The Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes (Global Forum) will discuss developments in the fight against offshore tax evasion during its annual plenary meeting on 29 November - 1 December 2023, in Lisbon, Portugal.
