The group originally named Thee Sixpence initially consisted of Ed King (lead guitar, vocals), Michael Luciano , Lee Freeman (rhythm guitar, harmonica, vocals), Gary Lovetro (bass), Steve Rabe (guitar, vocals), and Gene Gunnels .

21 de nov. de 2018 · Gary Lovetro. Steve Rabe and Mike Luciano both exited prior to SAC. Rabe went on to found SWR Bass Amps. When Gene Gunnels quit Thee Sixpence, at the behest of his then girlfriend, shortly after he recorded the drum track to “Incense And Peppermints”, the band’s manager sought to replace him. Enter Randy Seol.
The Strawberry Alarm Clock are a psychedelic rock group from Glendale, California. The band formed in 1965 and called themselves Thee Sixpence. They initially did for the most part covers of popular songs.
